1. Managing cookies and their role

Our site uses cookies linked to WordPress and to the site host. Their purposes include to guarantee its smooth operation, manage its basic functionalities and its security, or for audience measurement purposes.

Used to check whether the user’s browser accepts cookies.

phpsessid; life: session
To store navigation data, enabling you to move from one page to another without losing information. The only purpose of this cookie is to ensure the proper operation of the site.

_dd_s; life: 15 minutes
Enabled when you visit our site: cookie used to aggregate all events generated from a single user session across multiple pages. It indicates the current session ID, whether the session is excluded due to sampling, and the session expiry date. The cookie is extended for a further 15 minutes each time the user interacts with the website, up to the maximum user session duration (4 hours).

Local storage
Activated when you visit our site: local storage allows a website or application to store information locally your devices. It can be used to enhance the site experience, including enabling features, remembering your preferences and speeding up site functionality.

4. Matomo cookies used on our site

In accordance with the recommendations of The Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL), we use this tool for audience measurement purposes. The tool has been configured to anonymize the data collected.

Activated when you visit our site: cookie used by the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD)-compliant Matomo solution as designated by the CNIL, which stores a unique identifier to “recognize” the visitor.

_pk_ref*; life: 6 months
Activated as required: cookie used by the RGDB-compliant Matomo solution, as designated by the CNIL, used to track the origin of the cookie from third-party websites. It contains the URL of the originating website.

_pk_ses*; life: 30 minutes
Activated when you visit our site: cookie used by the RGPD-compliant Matomo solution as designated by the CNIL, which stores information-about the visit.

5. Information about Matomo

The Matomo software, which is installed on our server and therefore collecting data that is not transmitted to third parties, measures visitor statistics (number of visitors, average duration of visits, pages viewed, etc.).

Matomo is configured to be RGPD compliant, due its following characteristics:

> Users tracked by Matomo are not “identifiable” thanks to the anonymization of their IP address. The last two bytes of each IP are removed, making it impossible to identify visitors precisely;
> From this privacy policy (and cookie management) page, visitors may at any time revoke previously authorized cookie deposit rights (see below);
> Visitors who have specifically activated their browser’s “Do not track” directive will never be tracked;
> The raw data that is stored on our server, and therefore anonymized and only accessible by ATCOM TELEMETRIE, is purged every 13 months.

6. Refuse Matomo Analytics tracking

As previously indicated and as a reminder, we use the Matomo Analytics solution (a tool declared RGPD compliant by the CNIL), in order to analyze the use you make our site and thus improve it.

The tool has been configured to anonymize the data collected in order to fully respect your privacy. Because its purpose is strictly limited to audience measurement alone, we are exempt from obtaining visitors consent per the CNIL recommendations for RGPD compliance.

However, you can choose not to be tracked by unchecking the box below. For your information, this will result in the deposit of the following cookies:

MATOMO_SESSID: This cookie is used by Matomo when the Matomo disable function is used, to eliminate CSRF (cross-site request forgery) security problems.
Life: Session

mtm_consent_removed: This cookie is used by Matomo when the Matomo opt-out feature is used. It remembers your choice to opt-out of the Matomo statistics tool.
Life: 24 months

Deactivation will not prevent the site from functioning properly.

9. The data we collect

Data via our contact form: we collect data via our contact form with your consent, that enables us to pre-qualify your needs and your profile, so that we can provide you with the best possible support. Alternatively we may simply to provide you with information about our company and services, following a request for information from you.

The data collected via our site is as follows:

All personal data collected via these forms is not commercialized in any way, and is therefore only used by the company for the following purposes; qualifying our customers’ needs, communication, promotion, statistics and analyses.

Usage data: when you visit our site, we store the website from which you visited us, the pages of our site that you visit, the date and duration of your visit, your anonymized IP address, information about the device that you used to visit (type of device, operating system, screen resolution, language, country you are in and type of web browser), and other anonymized data.

We process this usage data in our Matomo Analytics tool, hosted in France on the same server as our site (and not on the publisher’s server), for purely statistical purposes. We use it to improve our site, and to identify and prevent misuse.

Cookies: we use cookies to enable our site to function properly and improve its features. You can disable or restrict the storage of cookies on your browser by modifying the settings of your web browser (as indicated below by following the CNIL link). Any cookies already stored can be deleted at any time.

10. Use of personal data

The personal data collected from users swerves to provide and improve the Platform’s services and to maintain a secure environment. The specific uses are as follows:

> pre-qualify your needs;
> access to, and use of, the Platform by the user;
> improve browsing on the Site: connection and usage data;
> management and optimization of the Platform ;
> verification, identification and authentication of data transmitted by the user;
> offering the user the possibility of communicating with other users of the Platform;
> implementation of user assistance;
> personalize services by displaying advertisements based on the user’s browsing history and preferences;
> prevention and detection of fraud, malware (malicious software) and management of security incidents;
> management of any disputes with users;
> sending commercial and advertising information, based on the user’s preferences.

11. Non-disclosure of personal data

ATCOM TELEMETRIE will not process, host or transfer the Information collected concerning its Customers to a country outside the European Union or recognized as “non-adequate,” by the European Commission without informing the Customer in advance. Notwithstanding this, ATCOM TELEMETRIE remains free to choose its technical and commercial subcontractors provided that they present sufficient guarantees with regard to the requirements of the RGPD: n° 2016-679.

ATCOM TELEMETRIE undertakes to take all necessary precautions to preserve the security of the Information and in particular to ensure that it is not communicated to unauthorized persons. However, if an incident affecting the integrity or confidentiality of the Customer’s Information is brought to the attention of ATCOM TELEMETRIE, ATCOM TELEMETRIE shall inform the Customer as soon as possible and inform the Customer of the corrective measures taken. ATCOM TELEMETRIE does not collect any “sensitive data”.

The User’s Personal Data may be processed by ATCOM TELEMETRIE subsidiaries and subcontractors (service providers), solely in order to achieve the purposes indicated in our general terms and conditions of sale.

12. Sharing personal data with third parties

Personal data may be shared with third-party companies in the following cases:

> when the user publishes publicly accessible information in the Platform’s free comment areas;
> when the user authorizes a third-party website to access his/her data;
> when the Platform uses the services of service providers to provide user support, advertising and payment services. These service providers have limited access to user data in the course of providing these services, and are contractually obliged to use it in accordance with the provisions of the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data;
> if required by law, the Platform may transmit data in order to pursue claims against the Platform and to comply with administrative and judicial proceedings;
> if the Platform is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets or receivership, it may be required to sell or share all or part of its assets, including personal data. In this case, users will be informed before any personal data is transferred to a third party.

13. Retention period of personal data

We will only retain your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including the fulfilment of any legal or accounting requirements.

14. Security and confidentiality

The Platform implements organizational, technical, software and physical digital security measures to protect personal data against alteration, destruction and unauthorized access. However, it should be noted that the Internet is not a completely secure environment, and the Platform cannot guarantee the security of the transmission or storage of information over the Internet.

16. Implementation of user rights

Pursuant to the regulations applicable to personal data, users have the following rights:

> they can delete their account by writing to the following e-mail address: contact [@] atcom.fr. Please note that information shared with other users, such as forum postings, may remain publicly visible on the Platform, even after their account has been deleted;
> they may exercise their right of access to their personal data by writing to the following e-mail address: contact [@] atcom.fr. In this case, before exercising-this right, the Platform may request proof of the user’s identity in order to verify its accuracy;
> if the personal data held by the Platform is inaccurate, they may request that the information be updated, by writing to the following e-mail address: contact [@] atcom.fr;
> users may request the deletion of their personal data, in accordance with applicable data protection laws, by writing to the following e-mail address: contact [@] atcom.fr
