High-Speed Slip-Ring Replacement Telemetry System (Aeronautics and Space)

This multi-channel telemetry system was designed to replace rotating collectors. It provides considerable improvement in measurement reliability. This module eliminates the phenomenon of contact wear, which generates parasitic signals (rotating collectors). It can therefore be used in difficult environments (dust, vibrations, high temperatures) at speeds exceeding 100,000 rpm.

This very compact and lightweight module includes conditioning for strain gauges, thermocouples, or PT100 sensors. Data is transmitted via PCM radio. Power is supplied by battery or induction (update possible depending on the application). Data can be retrieved as analog or digital outputs. Applications are numerous: measurements of deformations or temperature on transmission shafts, rotating machinery, in the automotive, aeronautical, energy, or space sectors (turbopumps).
