The ATE WHEEL telemetry system is designed to measure temperature or stress, without contact, on rotating wheels or aeronautical rotors. It can condition 32 type K thermocouples or 12 extensometry gauges.

ATE wheel-bat measurement on automotive and aerospace wheels

ATE wheel (32 channel, induction powered module)

The ATE WHEEL telemetry system is designed to measure temperature or stress, without contact, on rotating wheels or aeronautical rotors. It can condition 32 type K thermocouples or 12 extensometry gauges.

The ATE WHEEL telemetry system is designed to measure temperature or stress, without contact, on rotating wheels or aeronautical rotors. It can condition 32 type K thermocouples or 12 extensometry gauges. Inputs are compensated by internal cold welds.

All inputs are coded on 16 bits with simultaneous sampling transmitted digitally by radio. The distance between the transmitter and the receiver antenna can be of up to approximately 10m.

The ATE WHEEL allows parallel operation on 4 wheels. Reception is on SMA connectors of the 0-10V or -5/+5V analogue type or on a digital output. The ATE WHEEL runs using induction. The ATE WHEEL allows quick mechanical fitting to the wheel rim of one or more vehicles by changing the fixture block. It weighs only 0.675 kg which makes it possible to reduce the non suspended weight.
